Serving the Nation

The Boy will be on reservist for 2 weeks. Got the following out of office autoreply when I sent him an email this morning:

Hi, Thanks for your email.

I am currently on reservist duty.

During this In-Camp, the army is training us on the art of telepathy.
Please stand by to receive my thoughts on your email.

The STUFF's all packed, the FBO, the SBO and what not. I asked him why his "hat" is so ugly, why his shoes are so... not pretty at all. The Boy is going in to camp for his reservist tomorrow, to do his part in serving the nation. So sad for him. He's sad too, being reminded of his days in NS - hardship with all that torturous training he was subjected to.

Some rule said no camera phones allowed. So he got a super retro phone for use meanwhile.


Gosh this phone is classic! The screen is yellow with black text loh!! And it has my favourite snake game which I haven't played in ages!! Why aren't phones this size and weight these days? I so much prefer this, compared to those these days, where I don't use like two-thirds of the functions within.

Anyway, the good news is, married personnels can BOOK OUT!! Hahaha. :)
