It Only Just Begun

The onset of marriage life seems one to be filled with much bliss and fairytales. The first burst of excitement and optimism. Veterans will then add on saying that it will be peppered with loads of spice and everything nice (not). Of course no life is a bed of roses but we are definitely looking forward to this new journey in life with much happy anticipation. As we always tell and remind each other, that no matter how hard the day is, no matter how many obstacles we come across, we know that deep down inside, we love one another, and that is all that matters....

YES! We have just embarked on an experience of marriage preparation (I call it shopping..). Hopping from one bridal studio to the next, running from one photography studio to another, a couple of wedding shows plus hotel venues, lots of homework on comparison studies... WOW! We never knew we had that much energy, nor realised that it is going to be that expensive an affair! But people have gone through all that, and survived. Thus, we took it all in our stride, with much joy - for we know, these are only happy problems and we are only glad to have them, to have each other. =D

It has been a few weeks, much have been settled. At least the bookings. It leaves now for the creative juices to flow and make THE day happen, like magic, like a fairytale. Church wedding will be at THE church I've always dreamt of getting married in, since 10 years ago. Chris is going to be great, Margaret's gown is going to be fantastic. And Munch is going to be my prince. Hee, the planning is going to be tiring, but it will be one filled with much bliss.
