The Prototype

I've been nagging (my forte) about the mess of wires on the floor. "Think we need to neaten up the wires, you know?" "Can you please help to tidy up the wires?" "Think we have too many wires all over the floor..."

It was a quiet evening. The Boy disappeared for a while. He came back with a small cut-out square (apparently from one of the lids of the many boxes we used during the move over), asking for masking tape. We couldn't find any. I was curious what he was up to.

He asked for the tiny white plastic hooks with double-sided tape behind. Then I saw it. Munch was busy making this.

The wires could be wound around the hooks stuck onto the square piece that's been neatly wrapped with black tape. In this way, the excess length of wires that was creating the mess on the floor has been instantly cleaned up. He said it can be improved, this is only the prototype.

The Boy's a genius. An endearing one at that. The reason why I'm so in love, with him.

This is indeed a good idea. There are always too many wires running around and tangling themselves up!

Heh...one of his moments of inspiration. It's cute. We are still using it.
