Roses Are Red

Handled a media enquiry regarding our wedding team today. "What are some of the trends for 2006?" was one of the questions. I thought to myself, gee, shouldn't I be knowing this? Would I be following the trend, and adopt a theme if that was the hottest, most popular theme of the period? If hot pink was in, would I make sure that all my seat covers would be in hot pink?

I think a wedding theme with a touch of personalisation, one that is reflective of the style/nature of the wedding couple would be beautiful and meaningful. Not one who follows trends, I think it is most important to create a magical fairy tale that would make every guest feel as if they have a part to play in the story, to make sure every one goes away with a piece of loving memory, including of course, the wedding couple.

Coming back to the query, yes, I found out that coloured-theme is still one very popular choice and this led me to ask myself: what colours would it be? What colours are my bridesmaids wearing? What colours are my flowers going to be? What colours should my hand bouquet be? It is really exciting having to think of a colour co-ordination for the wedding day. For now, I think these are beautiful.
