Arab Delights
Managed to miraculously wake up on time for work today despite a late night out with Mudgod and Miss P to Timbre last night. I felt like a zombie!! The morning flew by quickly, perfect time to tidy up all the filing that was not done over the past crazy week. The Boy came over, and he literally skipped over to meet me with a hug. Sigh. The sweetness of being in love. =)
Went down to Bussorah Street to discuss our ROM venue floral decor with Greenpoint and WOW, flowers cost a hell lot!!!! Now we are in a dilemma as to whether we should be comparing prices with other florists. Will the difference be that great? But her flower arrangements sure look lovely. Hmmmm....
Had a nice cuppa thereafter at the kampong glam cafe along Arab Street. His: teh halia (good for his runny nose). Hers: teh si (not too sweet, like how I like it). NICE! We should come here more often, like how I mentioned the last time. Many small sidewalk cafes to explore. Very quaint and colourful place with nice little shops to explore. There is a couple of small shops that carry beautiful oriental lacquer ornaments - now we know where to get the stuff needed to do up our dream cosy boudoir done Shanghai tang style. Can't wait!
Oh, couldn't resist taking a shot of this. I was really tempted to step in to try a few cakes myself.... maybe next time. Or if you have tried it before, let me know!
