GONG XI FA CAI!
It has always felt good welcoming the Lunar New Year with pineapple tarts, kueh lapis, love letters and of course ANG BAOS. It's slightly different this year though - everyone kept telling us "this is your last one already hor" - and yes, it has dawned upon us that this will be the last year that we are "fully eligible" in receiving the coveted red packets. 
Went back home this morning and had our annual "lian zi tang", it was yummy as always. The Boy went off to the WASA and I stayed back welcoming all the relatives that we see once annually. As usual, it's always a noisy, boisterous bunch! Zipped back home in the late afternoon to meet up with his side of the family. Wow, we never had so many people at our place before!
Now they've all gone back. Time for us to sit back and catch that little afternoon nap that we've been waiting for...

Yesss, you can learn and come back to bake for moi. I will have a nice oven when we get the place renovated. you can come over and "display your skills"... hehehehh...
Love letters? Only 1 tub this year. Don't think you got hope of having anymore left by then. Not with the bro around.
