Was given 5 items on the wish list for The Boy's valentine's gift. No prizes for guessing that the list includes an X-Box. BUT no, it's not time for his fingers to caress the X-Box control as yet.

Decided to get him this from Funan - tottered over from office in the hot afternoon heat:


I knew the portable hard drive is one of the pressies on His List, but I didn't quite know which store to get it from. I headed for the same shop we went to some months back, after trying to recall which shop it was with much difficulty. Walked into the store and pointed to the exact same one The Boy wanted so much to have. I didn't quite know how to make a selection between the other choices available - the techno moron in me didn't know whether having a fire wall or not would make any difference.

Anyway, you know that you've grown really accustomed to each other when you decide that wrapping is not needed for the gift. What you spend 5 minutes to painstakingly wrap gets ripped apart in 10 seconds. Nah. Just give it to him. He was equally elated anyhow. haha...
