Take 2!
We had a great Saturday yesterday. As usual, it started with me climbing out of bed reluctantly to go for work. However, the morning flew by quickly, me being a zombie through most of it.
By noon, The Boy was already here and we zipped off to the start of a great day ahead! First stop: Greenpoint. Finalised our order and paid the deposit for the floral decor at Flutes. Our growling tummies then took us to the Kampong Glam Cafe again - this time we managed to have the mee siam and mee rubus that we so wanted to have the last time we were there at Arab Street. Slurps. Yums! Here's us, the Heng and the Lim, the last week as "singles":
We managed to walk into the Rich & Good Cake Shop this time round. It smelt heavenly! But we didn't get anything as they sold mainly swiss rolls, in flavours of kaya, durian, blueberry.... No place to refrigerate the cake, no point. Next time then.
Then it was off to the Rehearsal at Flutes! All our groomsmen turned up, some with their better halves as well. Louise was lost for a moment but found her way there eventually. Even Gerald came along!
It was really really awkward and weird walking up the stairs, holding hands with The Boy, with the march-in song playing and everyone watching. (We've chosen the song I've always wanted to use: Fallen, ever since I fell in love with the movie Pretty Woman.) I didn't quite know what to do while doing the walk-in. Should I pretend I'm just walking and there's no one else watching or should I wave and smile smile smile like royalty? How fast should we walk? Should we stop along the way to admire the flowers???? Hahahahahahaha....
Chua's helping with the music. Mogs will be our emcee, Mudgod the ring keeper and photog and James the beverage control. The gals not there, Karin and ME at the recep, Shuenie & Louise the petal "throwers". We got in Pam and Miss P as well to help "throw" petals at us!
We had a lot of fun. We hoped all of them did as well. Here's all of us at the end of it:
Thank you all, for the sweetness in helping us and being a big part of our journey. HUGS!

Oh yeah, wait till you catch him in his shocking pink crocs! Ha =D
Yes, it is getting really exciting now... somehow, you want this day to come, somehow you also want the waiting to last longer... confused!
