You Can Have Your Cake & Eat It
Inspired by BeanBean's valentine's day cake from her wedding cake baker, I decided to check out the options of wedding cakes available. They are so pretty, in fact, too pretty to be eaten!
The ones with the pair of Precious Moments figurines atop the cake look like potentials to me..... this one's from another baker, not exactly a wedding cake, ala multiple tiered, but quite cute.
And I couldn't help looking at these.... again, not exactly wedding cakes.....one looks suspiciously LV antigua... and the other is like, if I can have my shoe and eat it at the same time, I think it's literally like "having the cake and eat it"... woah... too many hidden meanings... hee...

the first cake is so sweet! :) i agree they are too pretty to be eaten. I felt quite sorry cutting my cake...
who's the baker?
I know! who can bear to cut up such a cake? I'm sure you felt the heartache cutting your cake, but it must take really good. Lychee one right? never tried before. saw it from the website. Oh wanted to ask you, were the figurines on the cake modelled after the both of you? cos the dress looks almost like your gown!
this baker can be found at www.pingcakeart.com. i think she used to be a newscaster long ago.
ah, thanks :) info to file away.
lychee was yummy - most of the guests actually stayed back to finish dessert cos it was unusual :)
yup, Cheryl customised the figures for us from pics of our outfits. I wanted it cos it's a cute keepsake of our wedding - they are made of clay. she stressed that she wouldn't be able to do anything about the faces though :P
oh, you mean your guests had the lychee cake as the dessert? hmmm.... lychee flavour does sound yummy
that's really amazing of her! i was guessing it from your gown's design that looks like the one on the cake. Oh, there was one cake with the couple's real faces right? was that a photo stuck on or what? that was cute too, haha
