Its surreal standing on the very street that inspired Sheryl Crow's lyrics. And then there was that other song by Savage Garden. I think i expected much more, but then it really is just a normal street that's become larger than life. There's still a definite whiff of grit around which somehow lends charm to an otherwise already urbanized community. We lunched in a restaurant that went straight to the point. it was called " Thai Dishes". I was tempted to ask if they had any Mexican Dishes, but decided against it. Theres something about hot hot tom yum soup on an extremely cold day. The sun's out, but the wind chill really gets to you. Otherwise, it was really an enjoyable day.

I'm telling you. If my wife were here...there'd be trouble. This place is a shopper's paradise. You would go crazy! Even my poor shopper instincts were rather heightened. The girls were quite thrilled to enter this A&F store to be greeted by Mr Chip&Dale . I was quite shocked because I thought he was a mannequin. Still, I couldn't resist a picture la. They really do go all out. This one's for you EJ!! No, it's not one of those before/after pictures. I tried to see if I could bring him back to Singapore as a toy for some of you girls, but he politely refused. Too bad. I'm pretty sure no one's looking at me in this picture..HELLO WIFE OF NEARLY 1 MONTH...FOCUS ON MEEEEE!
