Welcome to the Bay
It's been 2 weeks that I've started my new job. At the Marina Bay area. Things are going alright so far, lots of new things to learn, new people to learn how to manage, new series of bitch fights... the usual that you get in every other work place.
One of the best times I look forward to is lunch, personal lunch time. It means SHOPPING! Marina Square is certainly a refreshing change from the previous Raffles City. There seems to be an endless pool of shops to check out! A couple of great shoe haunts such as pazzion, gripz.. A pity they don't have a Nine West or a Hue here. Zara, Mango, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Puma... geez, I have yet to check them out yet!!
No time as yet though to check these places out. Much less, venture to Suntec or Millenia Walk. Have been doing lunch entertainment, eating the SAME food almost every other day, sometimes dinner as well. Oh boy, I'm gonna get SO FAT!!!! I'm gonna be such a fat bride. :(
Got a call the other day from Pillo Talks. She was relating the sagas that have been happening back there at the old work place. Haha, I so do NOT miss all that drama mamma!! Here's a peek at my old office, kinda miss the quiet little space I had. Miss those bunch of great colleagues I worked with. Other than that, nothing else. Ha.

When I was there on Tues night, I was just thinking you gonna have such great shopping fun during lunch!!
Hue is at Millenia Walk - not too far away! :)
I get lost in the new Marina Square... can't get my bearings right at all.
There is Hue at Raffles City too.
:)
lilsnooze > ah yes, it'll be SO fun, but I really haven't had the time to shop yet. lunch appt every blady day! =p But did manage to buy a pair of shoes, chop chop one, that day. Or have i already mentioned that?
beanbean & jesmineang > are you hue fans too???? when the raffles city one wasn't opened yet, i used to tell jem to have our dinner at millenia walk, claiming i like the food. actually, i'm there for HUE! heh. Then was delighted that the one at raffles city opened. But i moved on very soon after. K, when i find the time, i'll walk over to millenia walk! oh, and dreamweavers' there too!
mudgod > yes, marina is great. shopping is great. marina shopping i be doing, and lunch will be a date!
but of course! (to the Hue-fan comment that is) :) yeah i was so much happier when an outlet opened at raffles city. millenia was just too way out. and there's always the one at scotts :D
beanbean > haha, spoken just like a hue fan - you know ALL the outlets! ;)
Ha ha... Pillo Talks kinda stopped talking on the blog huh? I again forgot my password just when I wanted to post pictures of my Jedi's birthday bash yesterday! Boy it was tougher than organising VM! Nice work space you've got and hey we could meet for lunch at Millenia. I have a shuttle that takes me there. And I discovered a beautiful shop Hann & Thann that sells all things Thai (as in aromatherapy!) and the spa treatments are damn reasonable too! Let me try getting into my blog again and then you can have a good laugh at my Jedi and literally, Star Wars yesterday!
