The Shoes of Salvation

Had my 2nd fitting at Margaret's today. The gowns are turning out really fine. She has given me more patches of lace than expected, in her words "It's almost considered full lace already ok!". She's great.

Then we headed down to town, where The Girl can do some shopping The Boy can have his hair cut. We were shocked that there was a "Carpark Full" sign at the entrance to the driveway outside Takashimaya. Gosh, the whole of Singapore must be there, given that the GSS has just started. So it was Wheelock Place we parked at instead, stopping by at NYDC for a late lunch, and some fun with a couple of "pose-y" shots.

Back at Taka, we spied Beanbean with her hubby who was carrying a Truly Great Robinsons Sale bag - haha, so what did you get gal? :D Sorry, we were on the escalator when you guys walked past the Hour Glass boutique towards Hugo Boss, so couldn't go over to say hi!

So the weekend comes to an end, but in a nice sweet manner: I had a yummy sandwich, and a nice little book from my hubby (which after reading, had me seriously contemplating about that pair of ferragamo pumps I saw this afternoon):

Eh! Was just going to tell you I was at Taka too :) Aiyah, didn't see you... I was shopping with my mum, sis and DD actually, and I think we were just headed to Tiffany's so I wasn't looking around - must stay focused! :P

Heh, I like the book already. Apparently the writer has a series..and the covers are so nicely illustrated!

beanbean:: Heh, nope, we were coming down the escalator from upstairs. I saw your Robinsons' bag first and I remembered you said you couldn't find anything there. Then I saw you thereafter. So funny isn't it?

Anything at Tiffany's? :D

lilsnooze:: Issit? What other books in the series? I know, the story was so simple, yet so true! Haha. I think all men should get a copy, as part of the initiation to getting to know women.
