Home for The Shoes
Shoesie-shoesies will be getting a pretty little home. Here's a look at the developmental stages.
From the original old-style "display corner" that belonged to previous owner to the tearing down:
To an empty corner with red walls to putting up the shelvings and a little chandelier:
Here's me trying out the shelves, and finally, with the long-awaited Goodrich wallpaper on the sliding door! Gosh, we are starting to love wallpapers....
It has been what I envisioned from the beginning - my shoe kingdom. Now what it lacks is a plush red carpet....

very very nice...i can imagined you sitting there choosing your shoes...very nice!! sui ahh!!
baby, i forgot to mention that i had to sell away all your shoes in order to afford this decor...
y'know what..we havent been to BATA in a while sweetie...
-jem-
hahaha.... wanna install an auto fanfare to welcome you when ever you open your door to your shoe kingdom?
Man.. I can't believe that you actually catered a shoe storage this big @.@
candice > heh, are those supposed to be your eyes? so round and big! ;)
little miss bead-a-lot > Ha, wait till the shoes go up, then it could potentially look messy!!! But it's amazing how wallpapers make so much difference. Alongside a strong coloured wall.
lilsnooze > Uh, is there ever enough? Haha, we'll see when I put them up. Even if not, there is at least room for MORE! You know how sometimes you are less tempted to buy clothes cos you know you don't have anymore space in the wardrobe... Now got every reason to buy!!
silver-crv > haha, no space to sit lor! I had wished so, like a nice black couch or something. But haha, not big enough for that.
Mr Munchkin > Bata carries quite nice Marie Claire shoes...
Shutterbug > HAHA!!! That's a really funny idea, an autofanfare!! Haha. Aiyah, I thought, rather than fret about lack of shoe space, might as well cater for MORE first! Heh.
your place is looking gorgeous! :) one of my friends recently picked the same wallpaper you have (but in cream) for his living room!
so much shoe space... *envy* :P
Thanks babe :)
Yah, i love this wallpaper range. We got a red one too, in another room. The cream one sounds very nice, how come I didn't see it?!
Uh does it look a lot? Actually i'm hoping it doubles up as a store room as well, cos we don't have a storage space anymore! :P
