Chinatown Shopping
The Munchkins were down at Chinatown on Sunday, shopping around for "props" for our wedding concept video. Went to Sia Huat, but alas, they are closed on Sundays. Peering in, I realised that there is a great amount of "kitchen treasures" I can potentially pick up! Ha, ok next time.
Managed to pick up a deep red lacquer vase that would go with the other 2 red lacquer items (a tray and a showplate) that we already have. Collection building up! This place has a range of really beautiful lacquer ware. Check it out.
Then The Boy got hungry. Bratwurst was yummy yummy.
And it was not satisfying enough. So it was refreshing desserts!
And still, The Boy wanted more... We had fun walking around Chinatown, although it's a very touristy place, ang mohs armed with maps everywhere you go. A good number of old shops for which we checked out lots of antiques, great stuff they are! We'll be back soon, for my Sia Huat...
