First Dinner

7.45pm:
It was late after work. The munchkins felt adventurous. We went grocery shopping at Cold Storage near Siglap. We decided to cook our first dinner at home that night.

8.45pm:
We finished walking a few times up and down the aisles. We've got a trolley full. Full of potential for a nice home-cooked dinner tonight.

9.00pm:
En-route home. Suddenly, I realised it was getting a bit late. All that chopping of garlic, capsicum and chicken will take some time. By the time the chicken goes into the sizzling frying pan, it'll take another hour. The Boy's stomach started growling.

9.15pm:
We took a turn towards pasir ris drive 6. The good'ol 24-hour coffee shop. Ta-bao-ed some yummy mee goreng and prata. This was dinner tonight. Our first dinner, just the 2 of us, in the Munchkin Habitat.

Was that too long? Hee. Thinking very hard whether to buy that jar of jam - cos I usually don't eat that at home. But somehow, a fridge needs to have jam right?????

YES, definitely a jar of jam. At least it looks pretty sitting in the fridge:) haha.

Nowadays we do quick zip into NTUC. :D

Yah, think when you are well-stocked already, grocery shopping should get easier. Now I have to explore what brands also.

Okie, jam it is then. Even though I'm not sure when we will get to eat that with the loaf of bread we bought last friday. Bread is expiring tomorrow, but not a slice has been touched yet. Hahaha

EXACTLY the same situation. unless u eat bread every day...so I go for half loaf. Some bakery sell lesser slices.

Wonder why food are not sold for the 2-person family unit...
