One Last Dance

Attended the Cabaret Finale dinner at Neptune on Friday. No topless shows, in case you were wondering. While still in the mood of nostalgia, decided to take our family to its famous dim sum lunch on its very last day of operation today. In fact, the lunch would be the very last that is open to the public as they are booked for a private function tonight.

Opened in 1972, our parents have seen the hey days of this monumental attraction. The farewell given to the staff that Friday night was very touching. There was a couple who met while working there 31 years ago, got married, and are still working there till today!

The ladies, plus the Jemej attempting a "retro" pose.

View of the Marina Bay from the balcony of Neptune:

The Heng brothers in a "reflective" pose, wondering what will be in store next, on the very grounds that they are standing upon today:

Farewell Neptune!

yeah, i always like the dim sum on push carts idea, more authentic! the other place i haven't been to in a while is red star. wonder if it has changed in any way
