Food Galore

Just as I thought I would only be feasting during the Christmas season, January has been all about food so far too. Started off with celebrating my dad's birthday with a sumptuous fare at the famed Chef Chan's. Got Chef to prepare a nice (and huge) longevity bun for him. The famous crispy chicken is just.... YUM!

Then it has been 3 consecutive sessions of lo hei with the media so far, yes, I've had not only 1 but 3, and still counting.

And then there was the trip to KL, some other work lunches... we got up today wanting to check out the Hong Kong Tea House next to Katong Shopping Centre. This looks like one of the many HK cha can teng that have sprung up since the trend started some time back. Not worth a second visit though, in my opinion. Cream of walnut & black sesame was a disappointment. It was too watery, made from processed powder. =p
