Another Seaside Lobang

About the bout of CNY binging, I can feel my muffin top developing. Have been trying to hit the gym whenever we can the last couple of weeks. But as always, The Boy would crave for 2 bowls of rice with some simple veggie and plate of meat after the work-out.

We popped over to the Shore Restaurant - along Changi Coast Road, opposite Safra Resort - for some food after the gym session. We've been here once, but have kinda forgotten that this is a very pretty place, dining on the beach right next to the sea. The evening sight would have been very charming, as the planes fly low over your heads every now and then.

The food is not too bad, with a mix of western and cze char. Tiger Beer on the tap I think. Nice alternative to Fisherman's Village @ Pasir Ris Park, with a lesser crowd, and a funny waiter.

Funny Waiter:: You all came from jogging?

Us:: Yeap, we just came from the gym opposite.

Funny Waiter:: Next time you no need to go there exercise. Come here help us carry the sand ok already.

Me:: HUH? What you mean carry sand????

Funny Waiter:: Becos the sand will get washed out after a while, so we have to carry the sand, many kilos, to fill up loh.

Me:: But, but where you get the sand from?

Funny Waiter:: We jump into the sea and get from there loh.

Us:: .......

Oh, and when he brought our dishes over, "This is Devil's Chicken, and your miao miao - can you see your miao miao?". He was referring to the dou miao we ordered. Gee... Hahahaha, he was strange but funny! For you guys who enjoy dinner by the beach, go check out this place.
