The Chicken Bakes

A big thank you to Beanbean for her wonderful JO recipe of the Baked Chicken in White Wine. :)

After Moomeh's Lilone's Manyue party, we headed for the supermarket. Back home, I got to work, putting the ingredients together. The steps were simple to follow (I love such!) and the chicken was put into the oven quite quickly - first time I'm baking chicken in my oven! Whipped up some pasta alongside as well.

The outcome was lovely, the chicken was very juicy and tender. Although, I might have added a bit too much white wine - we got a little tipsy at the end of it....

jx > It's not chinese black mushroom, it's the ang moh button mushroom type.

Sure, anytime, but I'm afraid your gourmet standard too high la, you foodie!! :)

lilsnooze > Oh no, i used chicken breasts - i prefer that cos no bones. JO said can add/use other options such as red wine or bacon. Whatever that you fancy I guess!

Just that this whole idea of dumping everything in together to bake is great, cos I get disheartened whenever I read recipes of which the steps are complicated and tedious.
