Oishii!
Was supposed to check out Miharu near Gallery Hotel during lunch today, in celebration of r@e's birthday. They are reputed to have one of the best ramen around town. But alas, they are closed on Wednesdays!
Instead, we headed for Liang Court (gosh, I haven't been here in ages, and was still referring to it as Daimaru!) where this other supposedly very popular Japanese restaurant by the name of Tampopo is. The chilli ramen was yummy (but HUGE portion), and the breaded chicken chop was heavenly - crispy on the outside, tender inside, not too oily - OISHII!
When it came to desserts, their famous strawberry shortcake was divine, while the green tea ice cream was absolutely worth a second try. I'll definitely be back soon. And don't ask us how we survived the rest of the working afternoon, after such a satisfying lunch! :D
