Through the Stage Door

One of the perks of the job - got to go backstage, behind the curtains of the Phantom of the Opera yesterday evening. Thanks to my boss, who's always looking after our welfare.

Having been with the symphonic band for over 10 years back during school days, the backstage is something I'm not unfamiliar with. But considering that this is the first time ever, that I'm at the backstage of a world-renowned musical, to be able to see the scale of production from behind the curtains, the feeling was inexplicable.

Never would I have imagined looking up at the famous chandelier, whilst standing on the very stage of the Esplanade. Pardon the bad photography, I was trying to be discreet.
