Herbal Goodness

Decided to use the packet of herbs that I got a while back, to make herbal chicken soup for dinner tonight. Put the herbs and chicken together into the slow cooker last night, and let it run on its own. We had Heng-mummy, Jason, Jen and Baby Julian over as well, and family bonding whilst sipping all the goodness in the herbal soup just made me forget all about my worries at work.

For that moment, you are reminded again that nothing beats the love you share with your family, your friends, all that truly mean a lot to you. You are reminded that all the difficult moments at work are not worth fighting your life over, that there is more to life than success at work. You are reminded of God's amazing grace.

Hey gal, I cook alot of herbal soup and very "bu3" for the woman's health. Indeed, work is only part of life. I think there are more important things like your relationships with your love ones which matter most. I can see that you are putting in lots of effort to sow that love. Thumbs ups!:)

A simple pleasure yet one that does not come easy for us. Perhaps also cos' we seldom get together so each dinner gathering seems more precious too.

yuling > that's a very wise way of thinking, let work refine you, not define you. Will certainly bear that in mind, thanks babe!! :)

zealous > thanks for the word of encouragement gal!! :)

candice > no worries, the problems come and go, as long as i don't let them affect me personally. same goes to you hor! :)

domestic rat > i guess when it comes to families, although they are the most easily accessible, they are the most difficult to put in the extra effort for, cos you tend to take them for granted.
