Cosy Up!
The Jemej had their "BBs", r@e & @ndrea, over for dinner last evening. Made the dish that I've grown to be comfortable at making - Beef Stew!
As the saying goes "Practice makes perfect", I finally managed to chop all the carrots, potatoes, onions and beef PLUS put them together into the slow cooker and adjust the taste in ONE hour. I used to manage ONLY the chopping in one hour..... I'm sure the experts out there can manage ALL of the above in under an hour. Oh well, far from perfect, I'll keep practising anyway!
Given that r@e is a fussy eater - she likes variety - I made some "virgin" scrambled eggs. First scrambled eggs to grace the dining table of the Jemej home. And as usual, dinner won't start till we get some shots!
We had a wonderful time with the 2 adorable girls, talking about anything and everything lame. Bonding this way, I likey!!
