Surfer Dude

I bought a chic-looking Tefal iron many months ago. It even has a specific jeans setting. Read about it in the magazines and it came highly recommended. I think it was bought even before the wedding, when we first moved in. It has only been used once ever since, and it was an emergency.

And simply because, all these while, the iron didn't have a companion - the ironing board. Ok, I could be giving ourselves excuses for not making ironing clothes (such an important one) a vital part of the household chores. Somehow, we just never got down to buying one, till today.

And since The Boy felt like a surfer dude carrying the board around Robinsons, we decided to document this interesting thought in the right settings - with a picture outside the Billabong shop. This we had to do quickly and nonchalently, to avoid attracting unnecessary attention on what on earth this cranky couple is up to.

Haha, yes, call us lame. But we love each other for that!! Hahahahahahaa!

silver-crv > hahaha, that was on purpose one dude! I wanted to take this shot already at robinsons but he said it would look even more real if we take outside billabong. So we carried the board all the way to the basement to take this. kekekekek

BBL > LA-ME!!! ;)

lilsnooze > WAH! where did you get the news from? I should have known! Yes, apparently there are certain brands. My MIL said better to get more expensive one (not overboard though) so it won't be wobbly.

And uh, he would so kill me if i took too long with the camera, cos he'd be looking like a clown!! =p

corsage > He was the "model", I was the photographer mah! hehehe

yuling > hahaha, uh, i take it as compliment. we were just being lame, heh ;)

After ironing so many of the man's clothes day in day out, I think the most impt thing in an ironing board is that it can be adjusted to a comfortable level. Bending over the board can be rather backbreaking.

imp > how is that possible??! there are so many nice clothes that are NON wrinkle free, how to resist temptation?!

domesticrat > that's a good point! I haven't opened up my ironing board yet, hopefully it reaches a comfortable height for us. =p
