I Punched Him This Morning
Yes, I punched my husband this morning. AND I have no recollection of it whatsoever. We awoke this morning, as usual, loving the extra time to snooze in bed cos it's Sunday.
- The Boy:: Beh, do you know you punched me this morning?
Me:: HUH? Where got? I don't remember anything.
The Boy:: You did. A full-fisted one. On my right eye.
I was wide-awake by then. ACCORDING to him, he heard me scratching - I have eczema, and it's acting up again these days. Apparently, he whispered to me, "Sweetie, are you ok? Is it very very itchy?".......*WHAM*!!!
Hahahahaha! Till now, I can't quite believe that I can get so violent if my sleep's disturbed....
The good news is, my legs are still intact. Most of the parts are alright by now, only the inner thighs still hurt like mad. So much so that if I walk too fast or too much, I would get cramps. Ok, like everyone says, it can only be a good thing.

Not sure if you are keen to try but the California Baby's Calendula cream is good for my rashes. In fact, my belly rash cleared up significantly in a few days.
ehehhe! violent you are!
hope ur rashes go away soon. are you on medication?
cramps from eczema? anyway, hope you get well soon. and boy, you are indeed rather violent! hiak hiak! :p
hahaha... oh dear, poor jem! i hit DD really hard once, and i woke up the minute i hit him and felt really guilty. poor guy was asleep and was clobbered awake.
silver-crv, shutterbug > heh, he's now aka blue-black jeremy :D
dr > could be worth a try - i'd do ANYTHING to be rid of the itch! Was yours eczema? Where can i get the cream from?
imp > hee. ;) I have been seeing countless skin doctors for the last 3-4 years. Eczema is like asthma - it's hereditary, comes and goes as and when. So god knows!
yuling > haha, not cramps from eczema. It's from the gym session i went last thurs. Weak right?! =p
beanbean > ahahahah! that's hilarious, on hindsight. Guess we are violent eh? hee
I think I elbowed tehpeng once!? :P
The CB Calendula cream is for eczema, and other skin sensitivities. I was driven to my wits end so I just tried everything I had. You can get it from babyfleur.com (a sg online company) for ard SGD18, I think. Tried it on my face once and some mild eczema patches cleared up. But it's mild so you may need a few applications unlike steriod creams.
lilsnooze > haha, could you remember you did that? or he told you?
dr > I've been living on steriod creams for quite a while, so this definitely sounds potential! OK! Will check this out - thanks for the tip babe!
i have eczema too! haha.. and i hate it when i scratch unknowingly in my sleep and end up with scars all over.. then have to wear pants to cover up. -_-
and i kicked the hb once in my sleep. oops. :p
I think he woke and I woke too! :P
lingz > Oh dear, I can so understand how bad the itch can get sometimes. How long have you been having eczema? Only steroid creams work for me, sadly. :(
lilsnooze > Haha, uh, in our case, i didn't even wake up. Hee. =p
know how it is to battle eczema. i had that since i was 20 and it was so bad, i had to take steroid jabs on my cheeks.
and it IS caused by asthma or sinus problems, so if your family has any ENT-related problems, then eczema is more likely to flare up.
i take anti-histamines when i can sense my eczema acting up. usually get my doc friend to buy cheap for me from the pharmacy. on top of that, i use virgin coconut oil (creams are too mild for me!).
Oh dear, your case of eczema sounds a lot more severe! the doctor said it will disappear one day, like asthma. hopefully, we will overcome this one day.
Never had anything wrong with my skin till 3 years ago. seen so many skin doctors, didn't realise it's eczema till last year. =p
my eczema flared up when i kena chicken pox 6 years ago. and i almost "died" battling both at the same time!
but now, the flare up on my face has minimized. it's mainly on my calves.
actually, according to my derma friend, eczema can be controlled. but not 100% gone. =(
i'm praying that my kids in future don't get this! too painful to go through!
Oh my! chicken pox AND eczema at the same time, that's bad! You poor thing. Glad that it's much better now. Yeah, hope our kids don't get the same problem. =p
That's a quite rare situation, girl! The fact that you punched your husband without you remembering it is quite funny, too! Fortunately, your husband is an understanding person and he takes care of you, even in the middle of the night when you're both asleep. He's really concerned about your "scratching" problem that he tends to wake you up. That's so sweet of him!
Haha! You weren't even aware that you punched him! Well it was only an accident. I know he understood what you were experiencing that time.
