One People, One Nation, One Singapore!
Milestone in the Jemej Journey: It was our first National Day Parade together. The last time we went individually, he was in primary school. It was twice for me, once with my dad in primary 3 and another time with old friend Pig from JC. Thanks to my uncle, we got good seats for the entire family (with the exception of my bro who was "happening" at Singfest)!
The parade was awesome, much better and more interesting than all the years before, due to the fact that the Marina Bay provided another dimension of beautiful display on water. Fireworks display was breathtaking. It had us feeling emo, The Boy gushing about his days in NS, me singing to the familiar tunes of Count On Me Singapore etc. And it's been a while since we last sang Majulah Singapura lor!!!
As with always, the hottest item of NDPs would be the goodie bag. It's as good as a survival kit. Nationalist "tattoos" were included too - this being one of my favourite shots... 
When the Sands come up next, I can't imagine how spectacular NDPs will get by then.

I thought the proudest moment must be singing the national anthem with the flag flying across the skyline! :)
i like the display of our country's "new toys" too! the navy and air force ones are so coooool!

my sis was there too and thought it was awesome! I totally forgot and missed it on TV =p Love that 'Made in Singapore' rub-on! :)

i love the NDP - i'm always trying to go! this year's seemed pretty spectacular yah? :)
yes it was! Try next year, that on the floating platform was really quite different! :)
