Will You Berry Me?

I have a love-hate relationship with the Blackberry. The Boy, being in his line of business, is glued to his blackberry every waking hour of the day. His work has really kept him so busy at work all week, that we now only have the weekends left for each other.

Once, I got so irritated with him typing away at the blackberry, that I blurted out in an agitated tone, "Stop playing with the blueberry!!" He looked at me, he didn't quite know whether to laugh or cry. Oops, bimbo moment #1.

On the other hand, I love how the latest blackberry looks - so slick, so stylish. It's slimmer than the older model that The Boy has.

Me:: Can I have a blackberry too?

    Him:: You sure?

Me:: Yah, but can I have it without the email function?

He looked at me again, in amusement. He must be amazed at how his wife think at times.

hahaha. we both blogged about phones at almost the same time! BUT tech quotient for yours is wayy higher!!!

for me, i just dislike being accessible and reading my emails on a small screen. i rather read it on the mac or lug it around. :)

Oh yah, what a coincidence! :) But note my comment - WITHOUT the email function - I just need my phone to look good with idiot-proof functionality. tsk tsk. :p

beanbean > oooh yes, it's an EVIL thing. confiscate it you will!!

lilsnooze > buried is more like it. =p

Yah true, it's good for your partners to have it, cos you EXPECT to get an instant answer. Imagine the tables turned - it's really scary how emails have such a strong hold over us. Once you receive an email, the ball is in your court, you're obligated to respond asap. Some studies have shown that it's the no. 1 cause of work stress.

SIGH!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

yea normally I play gooseberry when you two are around.

but Berries are not as simple and innocent as they look, ask Boysenberry... or ask Wikiberry:

In botany, the berry is the most common type of simple fleshy fruit; a fruit in which the entire ovary wall ripens into an edible pericarp. The flowers of these plants have a superior ovary and they have one or more carpels within a thin covering and very fleshy interiors. The seeds are embedded in the common flesh of the ovary.

Examples of botanical berries include the tomato, grape, litchi, loquat, plantain, avocado, persimmon, eggplant, guava, uchuva (ground cherry), and chile pepper.

The fruit of citrus, such as the orange, kumquat and lemon, is a modified berry called a hesperidium. The fruit of cucumbers and their relatives are modified berries called "pepoes". A plant that bears berries is referred to as bacciferous.
