Oh yes, even before I confirm a bed for us to spend our nights in Italy, I had to make sure that this is well-locked in first.
Ok, I'm ready for the trip.

There's more than just gucci and prada at florence.. ask about this place called "The Mall" it's like a mini shopping arcade with boutiques like gucci ysl armani etc.. and prada is by itself in a huge place like the tampines ikea together with a few other brands, but prada is the main. we got to know about these only when we got to florence, and immediately, we had to change our plans.. took some church and chapel visits out and insert a half day outlet tour..
oh man, you are all set! u mean there's such a tour?
jx really got his priorities right! :)
wow it's certainly a lucrative business for these outlets! enjoy yourself in italy babe! and do come back with lotsa pics and loots heh.

jx > I think this tour I booked refers to The Mall. I booked this from expedia, but they have it on the tour agent's site too: www.caftours. I hope I got it right!!!!
Here:
Departure from Florence to reach the Prada outlet. Stop of about 1h30, then departure to reach the famous center The Mall (stop 2h45 approx.) where you can find prestigious high fashion companies including: Gucci - Giorgio Armani - Fendi - Ferragamo - Y.S. Laurent - Valentino - Ungaro - Zegna - Bottega Veneta - Sergio Rossi - Loro Piana.
The pleasant Café in the Center offers the chance of a snack (not included).
Booked this cos I'm not sure/too lazy to figure out how to get there on our own. How did you get there? You think the time they allocated is enough?

Eh.......won't it be better if you go on your own? No time restriction.
Enjoy your holiday
Hahaha... yes, priorities :) I was thinking of signing up for one of these tours too. Was quite disappointed that we couldn't sneak in the outlet shopping. Maybe next time! I feel like going back again...
