Nice Lunch He Had
The Boy and I have this little thing that we always do before going into lala land each night. We have this "Daily Dosage of Love", or "Do-dol" as we call it (not sure how it was derived), which we take a little bit of time to tell the other party about the thing(s) that he has or I have done that day, that we are appreciative of each other for.
Just the other night, when it was his turn, in his state of sleepiness, he said, "You are like my beef rendang with steamed rice, so comforting." Well, lucky for him, he didn't say "so spicy" or he wouldn't be having a peaceful night of sleep that day! -_-
And I sure hope that it was the makansutra "die die must try" standard of beef rendang!!! =p

that's a cute practice you guys have :) but yes, a bit of appreciation goes a long way in keeping everyone happy.
HAHAHAHA!!!
*nods* means not taking each other for granted! :)
Cute! And heartwarming, definitely puts you both to a good night's sleep :)
beanbean > the expression of appreciation for each other does make a difference! :)
tiffany > yup, that's a trap that we easily fall into. can't say i'm not guilty of it! =p
lilsnooze > eh, sometimes we are so tired, we just ramble some "defult" lines to try and get by. Hahahahahaha! ;)
Hahaha, you guys are hilarious!
very lovely...a reminder to the rest of us that we need to express our love for our spouse more often!
