The Greatest Blow Job of All

What happens when your organisation requires some 50k balloons for the balloon drop at each of the countdown to Christmas and New Year? You deploy all 400 over staff to embark on this massive balloon blowing project, for 3 days leading up to each major public holiday.

The feeling of accomplishment after that is pretty satisfying though, when you had fun playing the rubber with your colleagues and seeing the prettiness of all the balloons together.

It's almost 5pm now. Most of the world has stopped working to usher in the New Year.... while we're here nursing our sore fingers in the office.

I need to log off now!!!

Here's wishing everyone a blessed New Year!!!!!

goodness gracious! i hope that you used the 'blower'! i hate tying the balloons up.

ok, this reminds me of children ministry and balloon sculpturing, archs and such. egad.

goodness, that's a lot of balloons! wasn't there any easier way to get them all blown up? so i guess this was what you were doing yesterday when we ran into jem in the afternoon? :) anyway, happy new year to you guys - here's to 2008!

THANKS GUYS!!!!!

Likewise, may your new year be filled with the best of health and happiness, that you'll be abundantly blessed! *hugssss*

And, to answer the question - haha, of course we didn't use our lungs to blow the balloons, or else I'll be "face green green" by now. Yeah, we had the "blower" - so no worries with the saliva, shutterbug!

The cascading balloons' always a beautiful sight - and the crowd goes crazy with the stepping and bursting thereafter. And our housekeeping team of 20 moves in soon after to do a massive clean-up. The place is back to normal again by 3am. :)

shutterbug > more blahniks? i would love to get started with a pair!!! ;)

beanbean > oh yes, Jem told me you guys were checking out the imac. he told me you guys are really such lovely funny people. :)

ruth > I know! I hate it when you overblow the balloon and it bursts! =p

tiffany > er, it was free labour lor! =p

wenz > You have a wonderful happy 2008 too! By the way, just added you on LJ. :)

candice > Wishing you and Keat the best of health & happiness for 2008 too! Yup, likewise, am very appreciative of your friendship - here's to even greater friendship in the new year! :)

haha, so your other longer days were worth it - now you got to claim your 1/2 day. We had "1/2 day" for which we could go off at 3. but that's OFFICIAL time. And by now you'd already know that "official time" never exists. :D

Let's have lunch soon!

haha, bizarre is the word!!! But we were all allowed to come back in our jeans etc, and actually had quite a lot of fun - team work in a different setting! :)
