The Art of Mee Pok
I don't usually have mee pok. Mee kia or kway teow would be my preferred choice for various noodle dishes such as Fish Ball noddles, Wantan noodles etc.
But ever since we had the dried mee pok on the very morning of our flight back from Italy, with major OD of pasta, we've loved this ever since.
Ask for "hiam jio zuay" (chilli more), it's really damn shiok!
A check online made me realised that there's actually a War of the Mee Pok going on. Haha, thought there were only the wars of the Laksa and Rocher Soy Beancurd.
All these just made me appreciate our local food scene so much more - the choices are abundant and so varied. You would never be short of options!
