Toasty Love

Even though I'm not into celebrating Valentine's the "commercial" way, decided to do a little something for The Boy and the BBs on this romance-filled day.

Made each of them I Love You egg-mayo toast, coupled with an apple, to mean that each is "the apple of my eye". Yah, I can be quite cheesy at times, heh.

In the office, the BBs and I got very busy taking photos with the toasts and apples. Matt put his graphic designer skills to good use, coming up with this nice pic. He even gave his interpretation to "Apple of my eye" - he said it can become "Apple of my 爱“. Haha.

Realisation is slowly seeping in. Realisation that next week will be the final week that I'll be officially working with my BBs.

I've done pretty well not succumbing to the emotional heartache so far, not wanting to think too much about it. In that way, I won't cry. But I'm not sure how long more I can keep up with this. It does get more unbearable with the days.

That is such a sweet gesture!

U know I totally understand how you feel. When I left my first job, leaving behind colleagues that became more then just colleagues or friends but like sisters ..was a real tore at my heart. And, even up to now..I still havent been able to find such good friends in the workplace. Cherish the good memories and ..I'm sure what you all have built will forever be imprinted in your life!

Have a great day ahead !

anonymous > Hello there! I got this from Urban Outfitters back when we were on a trip to London. The closest I've seen in Singapore since is that of a smiley face, a bright yellow toaster in Molecule. :)

BBL, BBE > The priceless thing we got out of this is friendship, and shopping kakis. Heh. LUP MANY MANY!

nuttyjas > Sigh, I know, but thanks for the encouragement babe! You have a lovely weekend ahead! :)

lilsnooze > It is! We'll certainly make it a point to meet up as much as we can.

that's very sweet of you!

it's very fortunate for you guys to have such a wonderful working relationship and have it become a close knitted friendship. my side is rather tiring with the "games" people play here. :\

elaine > thanks gal, for the kind words of encouragement. :)

hansis > Hi, thanks for coming by! :)

Haha, I thought I would be making lots of toasts when I bought this too, but it turns out that I've been using it only a handful times a year! :D

candice > My dept is so small, that's why there's no problem getting along at all. People play politics where the depts are bigger, I think we have that too.
