Wok for It?

I'm contemplating very hard, whether or not to take up the 6 lessons on Basic Chinese Cooking at Palate Sensations.

Starts March 9, every Sunday for 6 consecutive Sundays, from 11am to 2pm.

Thought that learning some Chinese dishes would be more practical, since The Boy loves his white rice. They'll be teaching some Szechuan dishes such as Szechuan Hot & Sour Soup, Chicken Gung Bo and Ma Po Toufu, all of which The Boy loves.

Plus, he says I should take a break from Western cooking and brush up on my Chinese cooking, since the last time my fried rice kinda failed.

Anyone keen to join me in the fun? :)

cosmic cow, candice, lingz > come! shall we all join together? it'll be even more fun!! :)

Have to let you know that the chef will be speaking in mandarin though, but there'll be translation.

Yes, I have quite a few recipe books, but I love the actual hands-on demonstration as well, as this aids better in recall. Also, you get to see, practically, the different steps. For e.g. seeing the actual making of a pasta dough helps you to know what really is the consistency required.

Oh, and I like meeting more people, so it's fun! :)

Yeah, I guess you wouldn't be able to make it, the time between your church service and the class is too tight. Haha, will pass you the recipes if you're interested in any of the dishes. :)
