Julian is 1!
Our beloved nephew Julian turned one yesterday, and we all celebrated his birthday at Go Go Bambini at Dempsey Road, complete with games and a lovely cake from Cherylshuen.
We ordered our 1st Anniversary Cake from Cheryl before and this time, she didn't disappoint again. Her chocolate cake was yummy!
It was such a cute place, with kids and babies everywhere. In the "caged up" play area, which I think was about 3 storeys high, kids were running around, climbing up and down, with their parents trying to catch up behind them. It was, erm, riotous!! It was a place that The Boy had always dreamed of playing in, so he was seen running around amongst the little ones.
I'm sure all of us remember our childhood days of "swimming" amidst the brightly coloured balls at Ikea. Here, it was a joy watching Julian playing around among the balls, he looked so happy that he couldn't stop smiling. It was so heartwarming to see how he looked as if he was in kids' paradise!
Lucky birthday boy got a "convertible" as a present from his parents - he sure was one happy little baby that day!
We also learnt that he was fascinated with the iPhone. He sure has the techno whizz genes of his daddy!
And with that, he's a year old already. Soon, he'll be walking and running around. Soon, he'll be starting school. Life is truly amazing, and we thank God for this addition to the Heng family, that Baby Julian has given us much joy and laughter. May the Lord bless him and watch over him as he grows and learns the way of His Word.

Ooo i totally remember loving the Ikea ball rooms! Even now when I walk past them I wish I could jump in. I spy that new vintage clutch you've started using! =)

Wow, I also want to get a convertible for BBnat, but sadly, our small apartment cannot leh. It was my "dream car", something I really wanted when young, in addition to the Little Tykes Kitchen set!

lilsnooze > Yah! That's cake shaped in the number 1 was so classic right? think most of us had that!
Kids these days are indeed very blessed, compared to our days when we were young. And likewise, our parents would compare their childhood to ours too, saying how we are always so lucky. :)
