Of Men and Chicken
Because I was so caught up with watching 賭場風雲 today on channel 55, we didn't go out for lunch till very late.
My eyes were glued to the TV set the whole time because of this one very suave guy. 
So mesmerised I was, that I unwittingly exclaimed to The Boy how good Michael Miu looks in his suits, with all the charm oozing out from his every pore.
And when I finally decided that we shouldn't stay home any longer, cos The Boy's stomach was growling with hunger, he came along and said, "Ok let's go eat bak chor mee now." To which I teared my eyes away from the TV set and looked at my husband - he had purposely put on his black formal jacket (beneath which were his T-shirt and jeans).
- Me:: HAHAHAHA! You wanna go eat bak chor mee in that jacket??!
Him:: Yah, you like men in suits right?
Me:: BABY!!!
My husband's funny. He cracks me up. Especially when he pretends and acts like those actors that I like so much on TV.
(Late) Lunch was at the newly opened KFC at Playground @ Big Splash. Get this - I have not had a meal "proper" at a fast food restaurant in the last decade. People who know me well would know that I never eat fast food for lunch or dinner, unless it's pinching some fries or nuggets from the husband.
Only because we wanted to check out the place, and that not many of the other restaurants are opened yet.
So here, the momentous lunch @ KFC. When I was about to start eating the chicken, I was confused for a while. I had to be reminded that you use your fingers to tear the flesh from the chicken. No fork and knife baby!
Sorry guys, not that I'm atas, but I really feel that I get a lot more value, in terms of quality and nutrition, from real food. Give me bak chor mee even!!

haven't had chicken for months on account of that sinseh who says chicken and bananas cause phlegm.
I totally agree with you on the value and nutrition value. Fast food is only meant to be eaten IF I need quick food. :P

the gambling show is so very nice!! in fact " sam go " really looks so suave and charming! hahahhah nice show must watch ya!! =p btw, me too just eaten KFC on last Saturday! =p

i now feel very guilty for liking junk food! i try not to eat them, but i secretly crave for all things unhealthy! to make it worse, i hate soupy stuff, steamboat, porridge and the like! oh noooo... :p
