Coffee and Beans

I've fantasised about owning a coffee machine since the day we got the keys to our flat. I'm no hardcore coffee drinker, but having one of these sure adds a gourmet feel to drinking coffee!

And I do know of a friend who not only has one of these machines, but he owns a coffee grinder as well. So I jokingly asked him why not just chew on the coffee bean to get the most original of flavour? To which he replied that he already tried that, and it wasn't nice. This guy is really hardcore!

must burst all your bubbles here.

the coffee that comes out IS NICE! especially if u put in lovely coffee beans.

but hor...must WASH! if you do cappucino, the smell of milk is quite nauseating if it's not thoroughly washed and soaked. UGH. and must wash EACH TIME u use it.

Haha, back in JC, we were always joking abt rolling coffeepowder (ala ciggies) and smoking to get the most out of it (cos we were all downing kopi like anything to keep awake while burning midnight oil!)

my trusty saeco is about one of the most heavily utilised electrical appliances in my home! nothing beats a fresh brew really. somehow, coffee from a coffee machine tastes so much better. and somewhat uppity too. haha! go get one!

shutterbug > I suspect that you would be as well, if you get started with your nespresso machine! ;)

imp > yes yes that's EXACTLY what stopped me! that you have to diligently clean and maintain regularly.

we have a juicer bought 2 years ago that is still packed in the box itself - the thought of taking more time to prepare and wash through after somehow doesn't inspire us enough to start using it! =p

lilsnooze > Haha, that's funny! Did you guys think about burning up the lecture notes, mixing it with water and drinking it up, hoping that all the notes will miraculously be "retained" in your mind??!

silver-crv > Yup, need to spend more time cleaning, just for that cuppa! :D

elaine > sometimes i prefer the good old kopi from the kopi tiam! :)

tiffany > which gives aromatic coffee. it sure is a temptation! :)

yuling > Wow, i don't know if i have enough perseverance! Then again, the space on my kitchen top isn't a lot. Already, when I'm cooking, i find myself lacking of space to put all the pots and pans and stuff around.
