Tea for 2
My favourite spot for yummy scones!! Went down to Foster's after fitting at Margaret's. Complete with strawberry jam, butter, some finger sandwiches and chamomile tea, the tea set is always one I crave for whenever we are in need of some mid-afternoon snack. But it's late lunch for us today. Crisp on the outside, the scones are light and fluffy, melt in the mouth. Taste even better while they're still warm! Munch had club sandwich and his regular coffee.
And there we sat, al fresco, trying to plan the details for our solemnisation, which is coming SOON! It didn't seem too long ago when we e-filed our marriage on the ROM website. Now time has flown by in a flash! Ok, maybe a checklist will help:
1) Print and send out invite cards
2) Meet up with Flutes at the Fort to finalise menu and table arrangements
3) Meet up with florist to plan decor for venue
4) Buy The Boy's attire for that day
5) Buy my shoes!
6) Get a ring pillow??
7) Get some extra decor for the venue
8) Plan line up of music
9) Settle the hand bouquet
10) Reminder call to makeup lady and photographer
11) Assign videographer
12) Assign any other duties
Anything else we missed out???

So u will have walk-in and the works at your ROM too? Pastor officiating? Hehe, this is like church wedding? no?
seems like yr check list is rather complete.
Maybe...missing a guestbk?
and Black pen to sign the cert.(only black pen, for some reason)
Haha, not really. It'll be a simplified one. Not pastor, it'll be a JP, cos the priest doesn't do solemnisation outside the church.
Yeah true, but would a guest book be really needed? We'll be having like 50 people? The close relatives and friends. Not sure. Oh, JP doesn't provide pen?
Hehe if no walk-in then no need ring pillow but can buy first for your actual church one.
Well...still nice to have guests sign their wishes for you, yah?A simple one from Prints, maybe?
Haha. Not sure if JP provide pen off-site leh. Better to prepare!
I love afternoon tea scones too!
How about wrist corsages for the would-be bridesmaids? Heh...
Where's your favourite scone??
Copenhagen lounge or fosters.
Wrist corsages are nice but will it be tad simple for bridesmaids? If they are walking in, v awkward to walk in with nothing on their hands.Maybe for your jie-meis?
Oh, don't think there needs to be any walking in for bridesmaids for this feb. they'll just need to stand around and look pretty!
yeah, copenhagen is great too, love their cookies!
Fret not oh young one.. wrist corsages are pretty for you. Don't worry about the hair la. It's looks great as it is!
Moreover, it's only gonna be a 2-hour simple affair. Just go like how you would go for uh, any other function?
Don't worry about the dressing though. It's been planned out. So it's not what you have thought you would be wearing. A recent creative inspiration from us. heh ;)
Can I just say that my fren did a "Papa of the bride" and "Mama of the bride" t-shirt for her parents...ditto for the sisters/brothers and parents of the groom as well.
I thought that was rather cute.
Hmmmm.... that seems to be something along the line of what we have in mind... similar but not quite. ;)
