Drawing Near

February 18 is drawing near!

Finally made our way down today to the venue of our wedding solemnisation to find out what's to be done. It was a very fruitful meeting, we had most of our queries sorted out. Menu, table arrangement, sequence.... gotta go one more time for rehearsal nearer to date.

The place looks as lovely as always, we can't wait for our day to see it all prettily done up!! Food's good. This, we confirmed yet again, with a yummy lunch there to top off the visit.

Zipped down to Shaw next to check out our rings. Still work in progress. The cut isn't quite what I envisioned. Janet's really sweet though, she said the most important thing is that I have to be happy. so she'll continue to help us acheive my "perfect" ring. It's really important to me, afterall, it's the WEDDING BAND, the kind that you would only get ONCE in your lifetime, so better be sure I'm totally comfortable with it.

Got my shoes next (yay!) before meeting up with my family for our "traditional" dinner. It's always funny to watch how my parents are always shoving food onto The Boy's plate, stuffing him with an endless stream of "Heng Hwa delicacies". And the poor thing, he has to keep going even though he's so full already! Thank you Munch, you the hero! Haha.

Squeezed in a trip to Spotlight just before it closes to pick up some decorative ornaments for our "pails" for flower petals. Trying our hand at the handicraft work thereafter was fun! Except for the fur from the boa that keeps irritating my nose....

What's left now:

1) Invites (not printed yet, oops)
2) Meeting up with florist (looking at this place, it sure is going to be very $$$ doing up the floral decor!)
3) The Boy's attire
4) Ring pillow (our trip to Dreamweavers the other day was so fun! We wanted to buy EVERYTHING there! But the ringpillow we wanted isn't available and needs to be brought in from the head office)
5) Plan line-up of music
6) Reminder call to make-up lady and photographer
7) Inform our dear friends of their respective duties

Ahhhh... the list is getting shorter.... feels good. =)

Yah, if it's a wedding, which i assume there'll be lots more people to invite, marquee will be very beautiful!

But for that money, i'll spend a bit more to have it at Burkill Hall then, it's so beautiful!

Burkill Hall will be beautiful! When would it be? Just as long as it's not the monsoon period.

Yeah, it feels good that the list is getting shorter. heh
