Post New Year Day

Enjoyed a leisurely afternoon tea at PL's place today. As always, am amazed and deeply inspired by the perfectly matching sets of chinaware, from the teacup set to the cutlery to the place mats. I simply love Teresa's choice of tea delights. Today's include home-made char siew buns, scones, eclairs, curry puffs and her special mee siam. Heavenly! Some other days we have pancakes and kueh kuehs. Complete with aromatic tea and coffee. YUM!

She really inspires me to be a good host, and really, I can't wait to have our own place so that we can invite our wonderful friends over for afternoon tea! Oooh, yes... a coveted set of Wedgwood would be nice... from the Vera Wang range maybe...? Hee..

Got a message from mogs to head down to the Waterfront at the Esplanade, where he was performing with the Akatones .WOW! Mogs has never sounded better. Was swooned by his rendition of "Go The Distance", and we thereby confirmed for the millionth time that apart from him being one of jem's groomsmen, he would grace our wedding with his wonderful talent.

Hey..u're fans of the akatones as well? was told they kept this low key because of lack of proper rehearsal time. Still sounded pretty awesome though.
