Toilet Doors Up!
Have gone MIA these few days. Too caught up with all the stress at work. "Chill" my colleague kept telling me. Ok.
Anyhow, on the brighter side, the munchkin habitat is coming along well. We are absolutely excited about how the whole place is turning out, and really can't wait to see the finished product. The lights have all been settled. We did our permutation and combination, and finally decided where to put what light. Got a bit too extravagant, bought a couple of chandeliers. But they were beautiful what. Simply too irresistible.
Meanwhile, the shower screen doors are UP! Because we are both quite tall, Trevor had to use the industrial 2-metre glass type to make our shower screens.

Wow, chandeliers! :)
The glass for your shower door does look really tall compared to ours, which aside from the height, incidentally looks virtually the same :)
beanbean > haha, think they all look the same right? Problem now. i realised the drainage is OUTSIDE the shower cubicle cos of the HDB ruling that you can't dig too deep. Shite. I'm not sure about all my hair floating out through the tiny hole beneath the glass screen, along the gutter towards the drainage (aka public showers at the pool). HOW?! :(
silver-crv > thanks! uh, any solution to the above? you reckon it's not wise? the next solution could be to hack all away and RE-DO - raise the floor higher with kerb, instead of step down into the shower cubicle.... Uh, catch no ball? :(
hi same things for us too..lift the water flow gutter open...easy to clear the hairs etc and easy to wash in future....actually i would suggest you made the kerb higher. 1st can block more water from overflowing ...2nd can made a bigger hole for the water to pass through the kerb.
Huh? But the gutter/drain runs from inside the shower cubicle to the outside, under the vainity top/cabinet that would be built over it. Wouldn't it be difficult to reach in to clean in future?
Isn't it better to have the drainage inside the shower cubicle itself?
Anyway, have a wonderful trip to greece! You must be so excited now!! Have fun! :)
why are you building the vanity over the drain? can't you put the drin right next to the shower cubicle?
Isn't the drainage hole at the shower area??
beanbean > cos the vanity starts from right next to the shower screen leh - see the shower cubicle on the right - that's the one.
lilsnooze > exactly why i'm having headache now - it is NOT in the shower area - just like the public shower area - all the water flow towards the one, same drainage. =p
