A New Born

FY, ex-colleague, gave birth to a little princess yesterday. Visited her and baby Rachel earlier this evening. Babies are just so adorable, aren't they? She felt so soft and tender in my arms.

Little did I realise, there are many ladies around me who are expecting... my SIL, jesmineang, lil ms bead-a-lot, etc...

People started asking if this has inspired me. I couldn't quite find the answer by the time they started talking about her ordeal during the labour. "Menstral cramps x 1 million", "I should have just requested for epidural from the beginning", "All that talk about how to breathe during labour is b.s.".... the mummies mentioned something about "cut here cut there" too.... *shudders*.

Now, if only The Boy can take over the childbearing. Maybe I'll go cheong a few hills in his place. Hmmmm....

i think babies are so cute! but when the mums start telling me about the process of labour, i cringe and think "not so soon".
