Wedding at Marriott

Attended Michelle and Bernard's wedding at the Marriott this evening. The bride looked so angelic! It was a simple affair, with the walk-in, the childhood/courtship/pre-wedding video, followed by actual day video. No extra agenda but beautiful nonetheless. As I told the couple, "It's YOUR wedding, it's about you two. And that in itself, will make it the most beautiful wedding."

Was at the table with The Boy's ex-schoolmates from Murdoch, including cabbycabcab and piggypat. Enjoyed the light banter going around the table, and food was pretty alright. Except for the service. CMI. We had quite a few different wait staff serving our table throughout the 8 courses, one even changed over to a more experienced captain cos he couldn't debone and plate the fish properly. Each time as we watch them plate our dishes, I held my breath wondering what would spill! Strange though, the last wedding we attended at Marriott, our experience with the service was pretty alright.

Anyhow, with my early birthday cum valentine's pressie, I managed to take a few shots. Not posting the one with the beautiful wedding couple though, cos I realised that using the flash made us look too pale. Will see if piggypat's turns out better. Gotta go figure Nicky out more.
