Isn't this the usual way we spend our weekends? This Saturday was a little more though. It was FashBash. Despite the fact that I had set the alarm clock to the appointed waking hour, by some unexplained circumstances, I WOKE UP LATE!!

I jumped startled out of bed, exclaimed to The Boy, "Quick!! Late already! The alarm clock didn't ring!! FashBash starting soon! I have to be the first 200!!!!!!!"

The poor boy kena shocked out of bed, dragged out of the house, and soon, we were on the way to the bazaar.

It was madness there. In my excitement, I forgot to take some pictures of the endless streams of girls jostling around, browsing through the messy racks of clothes. Still, I managed to find a couple of vintage pieces and jewellery from Dress Up 2 the 9s and my perenial favourite Granny's Day Out. Am pleased to announce that The Boy survived the ordeal as well....

He was thus rewarded with the yummy tasty curry rice at Curry Favour at Stamford House for lunch. The chicken cutlet was really good!!!


Not long after some shopping around town, we met up with Mudgod & Ms P for dinner at Tiong Bahru. Food again! Apparently, Ibu Megawatti comes here to eat every time she's in Singapore. We had the signature champagne pork chop, Thai style steam fish and homemade tofu. The yam paste dessert was really yummy! *slurpz*


Had drinks over at Kandi Bar, Clarke Quay thereafter. It was the Jemej's first visit here. Boy, we've been missing out on a lot of new happening places that have sprung up at Clarke Quay since! A little lost at first on what drinks to order, goes to show how "rusty" we've become! :p Anyhow, it was an enjoyable evening as we caught up with Mudgod & Ms P, and their grand plans for the upcoming ROM, and current house-hunting. We were then reminded of our days of doing that. How sweet. :)
