Over The Weekend

It was a very quiet, relaxing weekend for the Jemej. Guess we wanted to take it slow and easy, and soak in the joy of couplehood. Perhaps realisation hit on what will happen when we have our mini Jemej. Ha.

Saturday:: Can't believe it, have never done this before - I went home straight after work, and we spent the whole day nuahing at home on the couch. Watched Happy Feet, then drifted off to sleep.

We didn't wake up till dinner time, which was when we went over to Heng-mummy's place to visit our little nephew. And so it was "practice" for us, Uncle Jem and Auntie EJ, carrying Baby Julian....

Sunday:: Dragged The Boy out of bed early morning, drove across the island, to arrive at.... the Botanic Gardens!

I've long wanted to come here for a morning walk, so it felt really good then. Despite the wet weather, we ventured around the gardens still, with our little brolly. We talked a lot, as I happily recounted my childhood days when I used to visit the Botanic Gardens during our school excursions. Much have not changed, with several familiar sites which I still remember.

It certainly was a lovely weekend, for which we basically soaked in each other's company. Don't we all need that to recharge? :)

Oh yes, gotta practice practice practice. The first thing you must practice is to learn how to 'siam' when a baby boy pees. Magical fountain!!

yeah, this pavilion/shelter is very classic! I used to do our art lessons here during my primary school excursions! :)
