HELLO 2006!
Big fish big fish!
The gang set sail for the dream of big fish and beautiful fireworks on the eve of the new year at 8pm. Although the waters were choppy at times, it sure is one great way to celebrate the coming of the new year, as opposed to the usual count-down parties that are jam-packed with sweaty bodies.
The Boy's dad and mum are always the sweetest darlings, having prepared such a sumptous yummy fare for us on-board! These, we happily tucked into, coupled with beer, Yeo's and chit-chat.
We sailed around the southern waters, and got back just in time to count down with the party crowd at Siloso Beach, which we could hear all the way from our boat. As the fireworks illuminated the night sky, and happy new year greetings and hugs were exchanged, the ships around us sounded their horns and fired their flares into the sky.
Although we didn't catch the 6kilo fish we were determined to hook with our sotong baits, Munch and I felt so happy amidst this companionship of the gang, and hoped everyone enjoyed themselves as much.
Here's a line-up of the crew, firstly, the Masters of the Sea:
The Babes:
The Couple who bravely survived the entire night, despite a tiring morning of wakeboarding earlier on. They came, complete with the determination to catch big fish, and his hot PINK sandals:
The Duo who came with not much of an ambition to catch fish, but were there to simply enjoy the friendship. His first non-controllable laughter of 2006 began with some rhyme about roti not nice to eat:
The Munchkins who thoroughly enjoyed themselves because they had a wonderful time with people whom they cared for:
